Insurance can be confusing and stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. Thanks to my background in the construction and mortgage industries, I understand insurance from all angles. I love walking clients through their options so they feel comfortable with their coverage and don’t run into any nasty surprises if they ever have a claim.

Jennifer Halteman was only 19 when her uncle saw her potential and hired her to run his construction company. She learned the ins and outs of the construction business, eventually owning her own company building spec homes.
Then she worked up the corporate ladder in the mortgage industry. After the subprime mortgage industry collapsed, she pursued a new career in insurance. As she says, “It was a Cinderella story from there!” She went on to get married and have two daughters while building her own agency.
Jennifer uses her expertise in home construction to advise clients about their potential risk and rebuilding costs. Since she also understands mortgages inside and out, she knows exactly how to help homebuyers satisfy their lender’s insurance requirements.
Continuing to expand her business keeps her very busy, but when she does have free time, Jennifer loves to golf and snowmobile with her family up in Jackman, Maine.
Jennifer also serves as the president of the Lions Club of Dover, Rollinsford, and South Berwick as a way to honor her uncle, who was a very active Lion.

Lori has 23 years of experience in banking and 25 years (and counting!) in insurance. It’s no surprise that she loves working with numbers. At the agency, she focuses on billing and customer service.
Lori grew up in North Berwick, Maine, and works out of her home office in Kennebunk. A hippie at heart, her taste in music is firmly entrenched in the 60s and 70s. She has ridden motorcycles since she was sixteen. Nothing makes her happier than riding her vintage Harley, which is a family heirloom.
When she’s not helping people navigate their insurance, she’s probably kayaking on a local pond or hanging out with her granddaughters.

Dennis is Jennifer’s other half. He reviews policy renewals to make sure clients are getting the best deal possible, ideally before they even ask for it. If you come to the office in North Hampton, you’ll probably see him – he actually hates working from home!
Before joining the insurance business, Dennis spent 20 years driving oil and propane trucks and tractor-trailers all over New England. He’s still haunted by some of the, shall we say, creative driving maneuvers he witnessed in Boston.
When he’s not helping run the family business, he is probably outside. He loves to fish, hunt, and snowmobile up near the Canadian border in Jackman, Maine.

Mikey* started his career in insurance almost three years ago, thanks to the power of local networking and Jennifer Halteman’s mentorship. He enjoys helping people find the best coverage for their needs and practicing his own networking skills at a Business Network International (BNI) group that he co-founded.
Mikey studied business administration and marketing at the University of Maine in Orono, where he was a member of the ski team. He continues to be an avid skier, and his favorite mountain in New England is Sugarloaf. A native of Wells, Mikey currently lives in York.
*Mikey had considered going by Mike professionally, but the name Mikey seems to have stuck!

Dan brings a calm, service-first approach to insurance, helping people through important life decisions with clarity and care. He works mostly at his home office in New Hampshire.
Outside of work, Dan loves playing hockey, practicing hot yoga, and hanging out with his grandkids. He and his wife also make time to see 5-10 Phish shows a year!
